The Trained Nurses Association of India and Health Education England signed MoU for free Nurses recruitment to UK under Global Nurses Program (GLP)
Prof (Dr) Roy K George- President TNAI, Mrs. Evelyn P Kannan- Secretary General along with Prof Ged Byrne- Director Health Education England, Mr. Ed Rose- Country lead, HEE in India signed the MoU on behalf of TNAI and HEE
 
Mrs. Annie Kumar -Vice President TNAI, Mrs. Pritipal Kaur Bamra- Treasurer TNAI, Mr. Ajinas A M, Mrs. Vatchala Dhinakaran- Assistant Secretary Generals also were present during the function. 
 
Main features of the program are:

5. Free IELTS/ OET and CBT Trianing
6. GLP certificate from the employer after the completion of the contract
7. Renewal facility after the contract period

9. Free assistance for Nursing and Midwifery council registration, Visa Application, Pick from Airport pickup and orientation
 
During the visit the delegation also visited the TNAI's National Skills Lab and International Training Center (American Heart Association approved) at Greater Noida. TNAI discussed the possibilities for starting CBT and OSCE centers in TNAI for the training of candidates interested to move UK.
 
The delegation from HEE appreciated the efforts of TNAI in promoting the standards of Nursing Education and Nursing Service in India and assured their full supprot through various programs.
